伊勢志摩の海と森から、静かに生まれるアクセサリー。
作り手は、シルバーや真鍮の鋳造を専門とする職人。
三十年以上、貴金属という素材とだけ向き合ってきました。
仕事として培った確かな技術と、暮らしの中で自然に育まれた自分自身の感性。
その両方が、factory shimaのものづくりを支えています。
きっかけは、ごく個人的なものでした。
仕事の合間に、自分のために作り続けてきたアクセサリーたち。
それを見た周りの人たちから「販売してみたら」と背中を押され、この場所が生まれました。
正直に言うと、「売れ筋」にはあまり興味がありません。
ハートのモチーフより、ウミウシ。
定番のデザインより、マダニ。
「え、それ需要ある？」と自分でも思うようなモチーフばかり、なぜか手が止まらず作ってしまいます。
サンマ、アゲハの幼虫、アミガサダケ、サザエのフタ。
伊勢志摩の暮らしの中で出会った、名もなき生きものや自然の造形たちを、そのままシルバーや真鍮に閉じ込めてきました。
万人受けより、「自分が本当に作りたいもの」を。
完璧に均一な仕上がりではなく、手仕事だからこそ生まれる、ひとつひとつの個性を大切にしています。
そのため、既製品のような一貫性をお求めの方には、ご希望に添えないかもしれません。
けれど、ちょっと変わったものを面白がってくださる方に、そっと届けば嬉しいです。

About factory shima
Quiet accessories, born from the sea and forest of Ise-Shima.
The maker is a craftsperson specializing in silver and brass casting — working with precious metals for over thirty years.
Skills honed through years of professional craftsmanship, paired with a sensibility shaped by everyday life close to nature.
Both come together in every piece factory shima makes.
It all began for a very personal reason.
Accessories made in spare moments, just for the maker's own pleasure.
Friends who saw them said, "You should sell these" — and that encouragement is how this shop came to be.
Honestly, "best-sellers" aren't much of a concern here.
A sea slug, over a heart. A tick, over a classic design.
"Would anyone actually want this?" — and yet, the hands keep moving anyway.
A Pacific saury. A swallowtail caterpillar. A morel mushroom. The lid of a turban shell.
Creatures and natural forms encountered in everyday life in Ise-Shima, cast just as they are in silver and brass.
Not what sells to everyone — but what we truly want to make.
Rather than a flawless, uniform finish, we value the individuality that only comes from handwork — each piece slightly different from the last.
Because of this, those looking for the consistency of mass-produced items may not find what they're looking for here.
